He received his MFA in Screenwriting from Columbia University School of the Arts, and has a background in Film Production. He is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor teaching courses in Screenwriting, Video Arts Technology, and Contemporary Media at Borough of Manhattan Community College (CUNY) in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>While pursuing his B.A. in Communications at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, he produced and directed 3 short films. His short film, <strong><em>Tumbleweed<\/em><\/strong>, was honored with the <em>Jack Haley, Jr. Award for Outstanding Filmmaking<\/em> and selected by the faculty for a screening at the <em>Director\u2019s Guild of America<\/em> in Los Angeles. And while living in Los Angeles, he worked as an Assistant Model Maker for <strong>Stetson Visual Services<\/strong>, working on such films as: <strong><em>Total Recall<\/em><\/strong>, <strong><em>Dick Tracy<\/em><\/strong>, and <strong><em>Edward Scissorhands<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He was honored with a staged reading of his feature screenplay <strong><em>Cities of the Dead<\/em><\/strong> at the <em>Homegrown Theater<\/em> in Manhattan and produced the short film Girl Talk, featured on <strong>LOGO TV<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He founded <strong>Desert Fish Media Ventures<\/strong> to develop feature films and online content.
